![]() Barbara's instructions and verbal adjustments are so clear that the visual support is usually unnecessary, and the practice continues to develop a strong inward attention. You have to stay present and focused, you have to listen. You can't let the mind wander and then look up at the screen to see what everyone else is doing. Practicing with a recording is an interesting experience, and in many ways it's preferable to practicing with a video. ![]() They are not intended for beginning students of yoga- for that Barbara has released the excellent DVD Yoga for Beginners, which is available from her website. The poses in each class are separated onto their own track to make it easier to focus on a particular asana, and each full class has a meditation bell to signal its end.

![]() Triple tap on the left bud brings up the voice assistant on the phone, while doing the same on the right bud lets you cycle through the sound profiles. Touch and hold for two seconds on left or right buds lets you jump to the previous or next track respectively or end/reject calls. Double tap on either buds is used to play/pause the audio or answer calls. You have to make do with the predefined gestures, which is not a bad thing in this case as they are well thought out.įor starters, no function has been assigned to a single tap, thus ruling out accidental inputs when trying to adjust the buds. Unfortunately, Life Note E doesn't work with the Soundcore app, one of the best companion apps for earphones. Some unique features along with smart touch controlsĪs I just mentioned, the earbuds are touch enabled, but the touch controls aren't programmable. The area at the top of stems is touch enabled and the touch sensitivity is spot on even during a triple tap gesture. I am glad to see the company switch to touch controls from the physical button present on its predecessor, Soundcore Life Note. Always a good idea to try them out and see what works for you for best results. If that's not the case with you, the company has been generous enough to bundle four more pairs of ear-tips ranging from XS to XL. The pre-installed medium-sized silicone tips offered good passive noise isolation for me. Thanks to the angle, the buds fit snugly in the ears and stay in place even during jogs, and seldom did I have to adjust them. The earbuds have angled tips that go into the ear canals and short stems that stay out but don't stick out of the ear much. The buds weigh just 4.6g each and you barely feel their presence in the ear. The case is lightweight and weighs close to 30g. At the back is a USB-C port for charging. The case has three LEDs at the front that gives you a rough estimate about the amount of charge left in the case. The build quality and finish of the product are pretty good with the case draped in a matte black finish, while the buds sport a combination of matte and gloss. ![]() The Soundcore Life Note E buds as well as the charging case are quite compact. Polished looks, lightweight and comfortable in the ears ![]() In Japan, Game Machine listed Gun Fighters on their Novemissue as being the seventh most-successful upright/cockpit arcade unit of the month. In North America, RePlay reported Lethal Enforcers II: Gun Fighters to be the fourth most-popular upright arcade game in May 1994, and Play Meter listed Lethal Enforcers II as the ninth most-popular arcade game in June 1994. On Sega Genesis and Sega CD port, the accuracy for each stage corresponds to the given rank: If the player has killed innocents on any stage, they will either maintain their rank or will be demoted, although the ranks do not go below Posse. When the game begins, the player's rank is Posse, and after each stage the player will be promoted, provided they have not killed any innocents. The ranks are: Posse, Deputy, Sheriff, Deputy Marshal and U.S. There are different ranks that the player can attain, depending on how well the player performs. If a player is shot while holding a more powerful weapon, it is lost and the player reverts to the original revolver. The Gatling guns and cannons can each be used only once but the other four weapons can be reloaded the same way as the revolver. 50 caliber Sharps rifles, higher-capacity rifles, double rigs, shotguns, Gatling guns, and cannons. Additional weaponry can be found throughout the game that will give the player better firepower. To reload, the player must aim the light gun away from the screen and pull the trigger. The player begins with a revolver that can hold six rounds. Just like the original game, a dip switch setting in the arcade version allows operators to let players progress through the stages in a linear fashion ("arcade mode") or select individual stages ("street mode"), including the between level target practice stages. ![]() Each stage features a boss that must be killed in order to complete the stage (though a unique case happened in the third stage where the boss battle is in the form of a dueling mini-game). During each stage, the player must shoot the armed outlaws without harming any innocent townsfolk or fellow lawmen. Lethal Enforcers 2 has five stages: "The Bank Robbery", "The Stage-Holdup", "Saloon Showdown", "The Train Robbery", and "The Hide-Out". The game overs when all life units are gone, but continued play is available. Every time the player, an innocent civilian or lawman is shot, one life unit will be lost. Life units are also awarded based on how many points the player scores while playing the game. In the arcade version, more can be purchased by inserting additional coins. At the beginning of the game, three to five life units are available. In this game, the goal is to shoot outlaws in order to eradicate crime from a stereotypical town in the American West of 1873. Years later, Konami released Lethal Enforcers 3. ![]() A Super NES version of the game was also announced that same year, but was unreleased. The game was bundled along with the first Lethal Enforcers game as part of the PlayStation compilation Lethal Enforcers I & II. Ports of the game were released for the Genesis and Sega CD. In contrast with the first game's modern law enforcement theme, Lethal Enforcers II takes place in the American Old West. Lethal Enforcers II: Gun Fighters, known in Japan as Lethal Enforcers 2: The Western, is a 1994 light gun shooter arcade game and prequel to the original Lethal Enforcers. Additionally, if you ever need to make a change to a number in a calculation, you can use variables instead of actual numbers. ![]() It is convenient to use variables when you have a number or expression that repeats. In programming, a variable is a symbol or string that represents a quantity in a mathematical or computational expression. In many programming languages (including Python), a list index starts at 0. This code will output a list of values starting at 3 and finishing at 10, with a step size of 1/2 (Example D).Īs you can see, the final Sqrt command only performed the square root function on the fourth element in the list, changing it from 4 to 2, unlike the previous square root example, where the entire list was changed.īear in mind when using lists in the Wolfram language that the index of a list starts at 1 – in other words, if you want to address the first item in a list, you use the code list]. The first of these methods is the Range function, which autofills a list of numbers: Range Luckily, the Wolfram language has you covered, with a number of ways in which to build lists automatically. However, when you run this code, it is automatically changed to the curly bracket format, so it is usually easier just to use the shorthand notation.īuilding lists by manually entering data is a very long-winded process, and for some applications, it is much better to do this in an automated fashion. The curly brackets are shorthand notation for creating a list the full function for creating a list is: List In the Wolfram language, a list is contained in curly brackets: That said, the three are pretty similar: An array is effectively a list of functions, and a matrix is a list of lists. Lists also are sometimes referred to as arrays or matrices however, in the Wolfram language, lists, arrays, and matrices are three distinct things. ![]() Other programming languages use lists as well (e.g., Python). ![]() Lists are a fundamental part of the Wolfram language. ![]() ![]() As such, there is no single route into the field-nor do product managers come from one specific professional background.
